Six months ago a vigilant GP pointed out a lump in my wife’s throat, which, after several tests and surgery to remove half of her thyroid, turned out to be cancer. Fortunately for her, her prognosis is now excellent, and her physical health is stable in part because of the work done by those, including Cancer Council Queensland, searching for a way to beat the big C!
To help continue to fight the good fight, I've chosen to raise money for the Cancer Council Queensland as part of my participation in 2018 Gold Coast Marathon. I’ll be joined at the festival by our 5-year-old son (running the 2km), wife (running her first 10km!), and our 2-year-old (cheering from the sidelines).
Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Cancer Council Queensland, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
